Sonessic   (Sonic Essence)

“SONESSIC-Language of Light” was inspired over 20 years ago.
I met my first teacher “Swami Veda” when I was around 12 years old. He chanted the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and taught me simple chants in Sanskrit. This was a monumental awareness of the profound effects of sound… and the beginning of a life-long journey into the world of vibration, energy, meditation, matter, consciousness, enlightenment and transformation to the SELF.

Sound, singing, chant and mantra has, since then, been vehicles of healing and awakening to my life’s purpose and expression through my voice and creative works.
Every pivotal incident and healing process, in my life, was instrumentally transformed through the grace of sound.

In looking back, I now see, without conscious intent, the ways of the universe leading me and providing a life style of full immersion into living the songs, chants, cosmic awareness, and sound healing practices of indigenous cultures. In turn, profound experiences evolved in the treasures of vibration with a deepening sense of unity and vision… I could not help but translate through my voice, music, performances and teachings.

I had an accident where my head went through the windshield of a car. Needless to say, there was a multitude of injuries as well as a near death experience. This was another turning point for me. I immediately withdrew from the care of western medicine and entered the world of deeper meditation, sound/chant and singing to heal. I knew,deep inside, this was the absolute path for my healing, spiritual evolution, and the ultimate gift to share with humanity.

As I was healing and chanting, I became acutely aware on how specific vowel and consonant combinations had direct activating sensations to my endocrine system, nervous system, emotional states and brain activity. After some refinement of my voice and language patterns, this sonic healing process became a language that I would sing. Thus SONESSIC came to be. Over the past 20+ years more of the language of light developed into song patterns for evoking states of the heart like Love, compassion, forgiveness, truth, understanding, unity, peace, humility and more. I came to expereince that virtures of the heart cannot be spoken and the true essence is experienced and expressed through the silence of the heart. Each virture has a different feeling, thus a different vibration and a different sound.

Up until recently, I have sung in Sonessic combined with traditional languages in my performances and recordings.

NOW In these days of rapid transformation and accelerated consciousness, I feel deeply the song lines of “SONESSIC- Language of Light” are to be sung in their purest form. It is an expanding experience to move from sound in a language with meaning in the mind to sound in a language that vibrates in the heart and soul. Vibrating in a language like prayer sets in motion an internal wellspring of love that has an elevating effect on the immune system, holistic well being, peace and joy… is contagious… music is a feeling experience and has the capacity to usher emotions as we identify them now into emotional enlightenment “as one listens, one experiences… as one speaks, one becomes”
